Conditional offers
Your spot at Â鶹µ¼º½is subject to the conditions outlined in your letter of admission. It’s important that you maintain your grades and submit your final documents to confirm your offer. Any significant changes in your academic standing could lead to your offer being reassessed.
If you applied to two degrees
If you’re still waiting to hear back about your first choice, check the regularly for status updates. If you receive offers to both your first- and second-choice degrees, you can choose either one.
Deferring your offer
Under certain circumstances, Â鶹µ¼º½will consider deferring your offer of admission by one year (or two years for mandatory military service) if you’re joining Â鶹µ¼º½as a first-year undergraduate. For more information, review our deferral eligibility requirements and deadlines.

As a student at Â鶹µ¼º½Vancouver, you’ll be paired with an Enrolment Services Advisor shortly after you accept your offer. Find your Enrolment Services Advisor in the Applicant Service Centre by clicking Personal Info, then selecting Â鶹µ¼º½Contacts. Ask them for help with planning your finances, registering for courses, and finding resources online and on campus.
If you’ve received an offer of admission to UBC, congratulations! Getting into Â鶹µ¼º½is no easy feat, so all of your hard work paid off. The next step is to formally accept your offer and pay your acceptance deposit before the deadline to confirm your spot.
