Simple but powerful reasons to engage in the work of dawah

Why am I involved in dawah

Some people question other brothers who are involved in organising Islamic activities & calling youngsters to the worship of Allah (swt).
They think only a complex , organised & ‘a certain way’ is the only acceptable way of being involved in dawah. The following ayaah’s & Hadith clearly show that just simple dawah is so rewardable!
We need all the good deeds we can before we face our Lord (swt)!
Let the brothers carry on with their dawah activities, instead of criticising them!

“Invite to the Way of your Lord with wisdom and fair preaching, and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path, and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided.”
(Quran, an-Nahl: 125)

“And who is better in speech than he who (says: ‘My Lord is Allah (believes in His Oneness),’ and then stands straight (acts upon His Order), and) invites (men) to Allah (Islamic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds, and says: ‘I am one of the Muslims.'”
(Quran, Fussilat: 33)

The Messenger Muhammad (saw) said:

“Some people will come on the Day of Judgement and their Iman will be outstanding, it’s light will shine from their chests and from their right hands. It will be said to them, ‘Glad tidings for you today, Assalamu Alaikum and goodness for you, enter into it (Jannah) forever! So the angels and the Prophets will be jealous of the love of Allah for them”. The Sahabah asked, ‘ Who are they O Messenger of Allah?’ He (saw) replied, “They are not from us and they are not from you. You are my companions but they are my beloved. These will come after you and will find the book (the Qur’an) made redundant by the people, and a Sunnah which has been killed by them. They will grab hold of the book and the Sunnah and revive them. Then, they will read them and teach them (the Qur’an and the Sunnah) to the people and they will experience in that path a punishment more severe and more ugly than what you (O Sahabah) have experienced. Indeed, the Iman of one of them is equivalent to the Iman of forty of you. The Shaheed of one of them is equivalent to forty of your Shuhadaa’. Because you found a helper towards the truth (the Prophet [saw]) and they will find no helper towards the truth. They will be surrounded by tyrant rulers in every place, and they will be in the surroundings of Bayt ul-Maqdis (al-Quds). The Nusrah (victorious material support) of Allah will come to them, and they will have the honour of it on their hands”. Then he (saw) said “O Allah give them the Nusrah and make them my close friends in Jannah”.

The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said to ‘Ali (RA):
“If Allah guides a person through you, it is better for you than all that is on the earth.”
Bukhari: No. 2783 & Muslim No. 2406)

The Prophet (p.b.u.h.) has said: “Convey from me, even one verse.” (Bukhari)

The Noble Prophet (p.b.u.h.) has stated:
“Whoever hides knowledge, Allah will brand him with the branding iron from the hellfire.”
(Ahmad)

The Prophet (p.b.u.h.) has said: “Whoever guides (another) to a good deed will get a reward similar to the one who performs it.” (Sahih Muslim) Also, “By Allah, if Allah were to guide one man through you it would be better for you than the best type of camels.”
